Event Creation

This guidance outlines the 3 main ways that events are created in Majestri.

Method 1: Copying from a Previous Event

It is entirely possible that we have built you an Event Package that you've used before, and that package is an exact fit, or at least very close, to what you need.
If this is the case, then you can locate that previous event in the Control Room and click the Copy Event button that will be available in the event card. This action will copy across a lot of the settings from the previous event, leaving you with only the job of updating the dates associated with the event and some of the description text.
Once you have your new event, be sure to go through the usual Setup and Pre-Flight checks to ensure that everything is in order before you open up.
If there is any alterations you need made to the fees or registration form, engage our customisation service in the usual way by sending an email to support@majestri.com.au with instructions on what changes you require.

Method 2: Creating an Event from a Base Template

If you're a bit newer to the system, or you're sure you've never run an event like this before, you can simply invoke the + New Event button at the top of the Control Room and pick from our base templates.
Don't stress too much about which one you pick, as our customisation service will give you the bespoke experience you're looking for - just see if you can get relatively close from the basic descriptions we give you on the popup.
Once your event exists, simply compile your list of fee and registration form instructions in an email to support@majestri.com.au, whereby we will create you a custom event package and attach it to your event in the background.

Method 3: Creating from a Custom Event Package

If you'd already done your thinking ahead of the event and engaged our customisation service, we have built you an event package and it is ready to be used with a new event.
Simply invoke the + New Event action on the Control Room, and right at the top will be custom packages we've built for you that haven't yet been used for an event. We usually send an email to confirm the availability of your new package, and we generally take a screenshot of the package to use when creating the event.
Simply select the custom package and click Done.
Go through the usual Setup process and Pre-Flight checks to ensure everything is in order.
